Neutrogena – Deep Clean – Micellar Gel to Foam

IMG_1136

With the drop of micellar water and all the fuss that surrounded it, I must admit, I didn’t jump on the bandwagon as fast as I normally would. I was a bit sceptical about this miraculous H20.

My makeup removing routine is – jump in the shower and chuck some cleanser on you foundation-laden face whilst scrubbing your pits. Which is why micellar water really didn’t tickle my fancy. Adding another step into my cleansing routine…I CBF.

So when I saw Neutrogena dropped this Micellar 2-in-1 I jumped on that bad boy. A makeup remover and deep cleanse that I can use in the shower…stop it Neutrogena #blessed.

The easy pump pack is perfect for resting in the shower-caddy but unfortunately, that’s where the excitement stopped for me.

The gel to foam formula went on smoothly and smelt like that clean feeling I dreamt of but…my BFF status with this product quickly went down hill. In saying that, this is such a gentle product I think sensitive skin individuals would love this. The silky formula is a dream to apply!

It did get every last speck of mascara off my pandaesque eyes, yes. But did it leave my skin feeling clean and fresh, no. I would recommend it for out of the shower makeup remover however to call this a ‘Deep Clean’ is practically a sin.

You also have to use a lot of product to cover your face, coming from a small-faced gal that leaves me livid AF.

This product has really disappointed me and because of it I < still > haven’t purchased micellar water. I just can’t handle any more disappointment.

Overall I would 100% recommend this as a makeup remover but anything else…lets just say that this bottle lies in my draw (yes, one draw that my boyf generously gave me at his house…srsly…just one draw. I’m a girl I have a lot of stuff you know) at my boyfriends for that emergency hangover cleanse when I couldn’t make it back to my own dwelling.
